There are those who, at this time of year, begin to look at the calendar with a certain uneasiness. To counteract this state of mind that seems to take over us every end of summer, at Bezzia we have created a selection of theater plays that will lift your spirits; 5 comedies that are touring our country and with which laughter is guaranteed.
Four hearts with brake and reverse
This hilarious work of Enrique Jardiel Poncela has become an everlasting classic. The plot, which combines absurd humor with deep philosophical reflections, introduces us to two couples in love, a postman, a desert island and the infallible formula for eternal youth. Eternal happiness? Immortal love? The answers are as disconcerting as they are fascinating in this theatrical experience that promises laughter and guaranteed entertainment.
Throughout its acts, “Four Hearts with Brakes and Reverse” examines the themes of the transience of life, lost illusions and the weight of time. However, Jardiel reminds us that laughter is the best balm to face the vicissitudes of existence. The direction of Gabriel Olivares and the performances of Álex Cueva, David García Palencia and Patrick Martino give life to this classic that fuses fun and depth.
