Antigone
La timelessness of the Greek classics comes to life with this version by Miguel del Arco from the tragedy written by Sophocles. In "Antigone", we are presented with the struggle of its protagonist against the unjust laws dictated by power. The story revolves around the War for the throne of Thebes, which culminates with the death of Polynices and Eteocles, Antigone's two brothers. The king of Thebes, the protagonist's uncle, decrees that Polynices should not receive a proper burial because he is considered a traitor. This act leads Antigone to break with authority in order to honor her brother, facing a tragic fate.
The work addresses universal themes such as Justice, the conflict between human and divine laws, and courage in the face of adversity. Without a doubt, it is a staging that invites us to reflect and contemplate the value of sacrifice for what we consider right.

Cyrano de Bergerac
José Luis Gil leads this representation of the immortal Cyrano de Bergerac, a character full of nuances: poet, brave, proud and deeply in love of Roxana, a woman who symbolizes the purity of impossible love. His big nose, however, makes him an insecure person, incapable of confessing his true feelings to Roxana. In an act of generosity, Cyrano decides to help his friend Cristian to conquer Roxana using his own pen, writing letters that awaken the young woman's passion. This tragicomedy, directed by Alberto Castrillo-Ferrer and reinforced by the performances of Ana Ruiz and Joaquín Murillo, combines the epic with the romantic, leaving both laughter and tears in the audience.
