At Bezzia, we wanted to show you some of the most outstanding ones; exhibitions that will let you enjoy painting, photography, and/or fashion.
Paris, end of the century
The exhibition 'Paris, Fin de Siècle' is an exceptional opportunity to view works by Signac, Redon, Toulouse-Lautrec, and their contemporaries. The show focuses on the most important French avant-garde movements of the late 19th century, especially the Neo-Impressionists, Nabis, and Symbolists. A hundred pieces, including paintings, drawings, prints, and works on paper from private European collections, comprise a collection that reflects a time of great political upheaval and profound transformation.

David Bowie
Produced by London's Victoria and Albert Museum, 'David Bowie is' has already received over 1.5 million visitors in the eight cities that have hosted it so far, including London, Berlin, Paris, and Chicago, making it the most visited exhibition in the British museum's 164-year history. The exhibition brings together more than 300 objects, including photographs, album covers, handwritten lyrics, original costumes, stage designs, and previously unseen footage from the artist's concerts over the past five decades. This collection allows visitors to trace David Bowie's career , from his early years as a young London artist, David Robert Jones, to his rise to international stardom.

Carlos Saura. Spain, 50s
Spain in the 50s is a documentary work, a photographic album about the towns and people of Spain that Carlos Saura discovered on his various travels throughout the country. Nearly one hundred images transport us back to a time that seems distant and to places that are barely recognizable, presenting a dark, miserable, and sad Spain, mired in poverty; but also a country with a rich cultural heritage, of open, simple, and hardworking people who reflect the life and customs of a nation, its festivals and rituals. This exhibition is hosted by the Cerralbo Museum as part of the PHotoEspaña festival.

Bacon Freud and the London School
Organized by Tate London, in collaboration with the Picasso Museum Málaga, the exhibition "Bacon, Freud and the School of London" showcases the work of a group of leading painters who, between the post-war period and the end of the 20th century, worked in London with a common thread centered on the representation of the human figure, their own vision of landscape, and the everyday. Alongside Francis Bacon and Lucian Freud, works by Michael Andrews, Frank Auerbach, David Bomberg, William Coldstream, R. B. Kitaj, Leon Kossoff, Paula Rego, and Euan Uglow are also on display.

Chto Delat
Continuing its ongoing series of exhibitions featuring international artists who critically reflect on the present , the CAAC, in collaboration with the University Museum of Contemporary Art in Mexico, presents an exhibition by the Russian collective Chto Delat. Founded in 2003 by a group of artists, philosophers, and writers, this collective combines theater, video, murals, banners, drawings, and sculptures in its projects, aiming to fuse political theory, art, and activism.

Josep Renau and the Second Republic
From 1931 onwards, with the proclamation of the Second Republic, Josep Renau (1907-1982) moved beyond his early Art Deco-influenced period and began a new phase, in which he strengthened his socio-political commitment (joining the PCE in 1931) and evolved towards an avant-garde style. The outbreak of the war confirmed him as a highly committed artist. This exhibition, using material from the Renau Archive and the IVAM collections, traces his political and artistic trajectory up to the end of the conflict.

Louis Faurer. A retrospective
Co-produced with the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson in Paris and curated by its director, Agnès Sire, this exhibition offers the opportunity to see the photographs of Louis Faurer for the first time in Spain. It offers a unique opportunity to discover one of the great photographers of the XNUMXth century, whose poetic vision, both documentary and avant-garde, is an important contribution to the understanding of urban life in postwar North America and to the development of photographic language.
Emerging at the height of the Beat Generation, Louis Faurer found his inspiration in the people and landscapes of New York City in the 40s and 50s . His images, captured with a 35mm camera, deliberately grainy, low-contrast, and often blurred, are reminiscent of film noir. His work found, particularly in Times Square and Union Square, a microcosm before which he set his camera to conduct a conscious examination of daily life and modern urban behavior, in which his protagonists are often socially marginalized figures.
