There are 15 days until Halloween's night. If you like to decorate your house for the occasion, it's time for you to get going! At Bezzia we propose today some ideas to get a scary decoration for halloween that no one will forget. Take note!
We will use pumpkins, of course, because these should not be missing from any Halloween decoration. But we will also suggest how to play with color and with some elements inspired by nature to create dark and gloomy corners. We start?
Do not miss
Pumpkins and skeletons They cannot be missing in a scary decoration for Halloween. And when we say skeletons we also mean bones or skulls, of course. It is a classic combination but one that always works and that you can modernize through the use of color and adding other elements to the equation.
You can work the pumpkins as in the image drawing faces and then introducing lights into them. Too much work? You can always paint the pumpkins instead of emptying them or directly buy artificial pumpkins in one of the many stores that are already in our cities decorated with Halloween elements.
Surprise with color
Orange and black are classic colors on Halloween night. White is also white and is generally incorporated in numerous elements. But why not try to be original through color? Without leaving the Halloween theme, there are two colors that we love and that work very well with the classic shortlist: red and purple. Choose one of them and use it on key elements to draw attention to them.
Red is the color of blood and you can use it in different ways. In candles, for example, burning red wax on white or black candles. Also strategically "staining" the tablecloth or a sheet that strategically covers a piece of furniture or sofa. Additionally, using colorants you can incorporate it into your desserts so that they draw attention to the table.
Purple may be a little more complicated for you. We love the idea of incorporating purple and orange flowers on the table, for example. We think chrysanthemums are fantastic for this. You can also use it in textiles and lighting.
Get inspired by nature
Getting inspired by nature is a great option to create dark corners in the house. Cobwebs, for example, can give you a lot of fun and it won't be difficult for you to reproduce them. Nowadays there are spray products that simulate these and that you can use here and there.
The dry branches with some crows They also impose in any corner. You can get the branches on a walk in the park. Then you will only need some bottles to serve as a vase and of course, some crows. You can buy them or make them with black cardstock.
You can also place twigs and dry moss on some surface dressed with a black mesh net as in the image above. It is a simple idea that dresses any surface on which you have no idea what to put.
Take care of the lighting
Lighting is very important to achieve a scary decoration for Halloween. A candle combination, Not too bright lamps and garlands make up a fantastic shortlist to achieve an intimate and dark atmosphere.
We have already given you clues before on how to decorate candles with contrasting drips of wax. But what about the lamps? If your lamps are very modern and bright, cover them with net-type fabrics that reduce their brightness a little and give them a ghostly appearance.
You can also search in the stores in your city Halloween garlands like the ghosts in the last image. Or do it step by step following Unoriginalmom's tutorial with ping pong balls, aren't you curious?
