With Beyoncé as the star attraction, honored as a fashion icon and delivering the most moving speech of the night, one of the most important galas in the fashion world took place. The CFDA ( Council of Fashion Designers of America) ceremony brought together models, actresses, designers, and numerous industry representatives to recognize the year's most outstanding figures.
Among the award winners were Alessandro Michele, recognized for his work at Gucci, Marc Jacobs, and Brandon Maxwell. On the red carpet, the real stars were others, such as model Rosie Huntington , who looked spectacular in a Michael Kors design: a slip dress with straps and beading in aquamarine. The same designer dressed Alessandra Ambrosio , who wore a blue dress with an asymmetrical neckline and silver sandals.

It's not often you see the three Olsen sisters posing together on a red carpet, but the CFDA Awards brought them together. Twins Ashley and Mary-Kate, nominated as designers for their brand The Row, were accompanied by their sister, actress Elizabeth Olsen.
