Ideas to wear black in summer

Black summer looks

Giving up black during the summer isn't on our agenda. We know that lighter colors are cooler . They're also brighter and more cheerful, just like summer itself. Does that mean we have to abandon black? Not at all. It's still a fantastic option for looking stylish this time of year.

We've all been taught in school that black absorbs light, which is why it's not the best color to wear when the weather is too bright. However, the explanation isn't as simple as it seems. And we won't be going into detail today. Instead, we'd like to show you different ways to wear black this summer. Want to see them?

Black is a permanent fixture in fashion collections. Its prominence diminishes in summer, it's true, but it doesn't disappear from the radar. It remains a favorite color for those attending a party who want to look elegant; but it's also a great option for everyday wear.

Palazzo pants and a crop top can be a suitable combo in both cases. We can pair them with flat and/or heeled sandals and play with accessories to create a different look. For a more casual feel, black ripped jeans are ideal for both day and night looks, combined with a basic t-shirt or a sparkly blouse, respectively.

Short dresses are one of the most popular summer options when we opt for black. This year, openwork dresses with lace details or ruffles will be favorites. For more elegant occasions, we'll choose other types of dresses: midi dresses with off-the-shoulder styles, long dresses with ruffles, and so on.

Although not shown here, black denim shorts and skirts are another way to wear this color in summer, paired with tops or t-shirts in the same shade. As you can see, there are many options for making the most of this color, even in summer.
