Taking care of our hair should become part of a routineWe must learn to do it with love, thinking that the results will make us feel much better and look more beautiful and confident about ourselves.

In Spain the Observatory of Professional Hairdressing has been carried out, organized by Stanpa, the National Association of Perfumery and Cosmetics. In this event, in addition to bringing together the market players, some conclusions could be drawn that reflect the hairdressing habits of Spanish women.

  • During the past year (2012) seven out of ten Spanish women went to the hairdresser at some point, that is, 27.3 million people.
  • 78.8 percent of people who have their hair done in hair salons.
  • On average, women attend 4.5 times per year with an average expenditure of 24 euros each time they attend. The period between visit and visit is approximately 80 days.
  • Both men and women they have increased the frequency of visits as their age increased.
  • The most requested service is hair washing and cutting.
  • Nine out of ten Spaniards employ a hair product at least 10 times a week.
  • 6.6 million Spanish women under 75 years of age go to the hairdresser to color their hair
